Cars line the kerb outside the Rosebud Hotel in the old postcard. Further along Point Nepean Road, verandahs shade the shopfronts and the signs above them mark out businesses that have since changed hands. The photographs follow that stretch of road past the Boneo Road junction and out to West Rosebud. At the old Peninsula Hospital home, the front gable and chimney give a particularly clear comparison.
